I’ve recently become obsessed with public transit. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos about transit from creators like Miles in Transit and CityNerd. I love talking about transit, especially Amtrak and bus networks. Even though I’ve taken public buses since high school (I thoroughly enjoyed the hour-long headways on OCTA), I’m relatively new to being a true transit enthusiast. I’m eager to learn more about different transit systems and how they operate!

Seattle

Fortunately, I currently live in Seattle, which has fairly extensive public transit (by American standards). I’m attempting to ride every bus route run by either King County Metro or Sound Transit within King County. I decided that I don’t need to ride the entire route from start to finish; I just need to ride at least one stop of it. Track my progress below!
